According to well-known blogger Om Malik, from the GigaOm blog, the Mountain View giant should finally release the long-awaited Google Drive in the first week of April.
“I was told the big day will be sometime during the first week of April 2012. Google will offer 1 Gb of free storage space, but will charge for more storage space,” explained Malik.
“The Google product, will come with a local client and a web interface very similar to the current Google Docs interface. Interestingly, it will also be launched for Google Apps customers and will have a specific domain ”.
“Google has also created an API for third-party applications that will allow you to store the content of other applications on Google Drive. My sources are impressed, so far, with what they saw ”, he concluded.
Will we have the chance to get our hands on the legendary Google Drive this time?
