The further away from launches, obviously the more uncertain are the rumors even more when they come from different sources in Asia. But it is interesting to discuss some of the future possibilities about Apple products, especially when it comes to the iPhone.
The bet comes from the Japanese Nikkei Asian Review, which states that the "IPhone 8" (yes, they are calling the iPhone of next year like that and not a “7s” of life, as would be normal / expected) can be launched with three different sizes. In addition to the current 4.7 and 5.5 inches, an intermediary of 5 inches. I have heard from many people that I would like an iPhone with an intermediate size between the current two, but it justifies the existence of a third size in the line (or fourth, if we consider the iPhone SE with its 4 inches), I don't know
Furthermore, corroborating what analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (from KGI Securities) said last month, the back of them all would be made of glass. The difference is that Kuo, who has a good track record of rumors, had bet on a new larger size of 5.8 inches.
THE Nikkei did not mention anything about the technology of the screen itself, but it is expected that Apple will finally adopt OLED (instead of the LCD) on this "iPhone 8".

As I said, it is still too early even to deny such a rumor but what AppleInsider has done so, citing sources that have proven to be reliable in the past. According to them, Apple will continue with the two official sizes of 4.7 and 5.5 inches in 2017.
Also according to what they heard, plans for the next generation of the iPhone include a kind of "glass sandwich" which incorporates an AMOLED screen. We'll see.
