Now that the iPhone 6 has been released, it is time for other rumors to gain traction. Remember the supposed 12-inch MacBook? For Jack March brought some alleged information passed on by sources within Apple.
The new MacBook would be 12 inches and would be very, very thin. The reference to how thin it will be we don’t know, but March says that because of this new thickness, Apple even chose to use the new USB Type-C connector – the new laptop would come with an adapter for users to use your current accessories with the new standard.
The MagSafe would also be completely modified to accommodate this new thickness – this would be the second redesign of the connector, if it actually occurs. The curious thing about the rumor is that this new recharge method would be * totally * different from what we have today. In addition, the notebook would not have fans thanks to the new generation of processors from Intel (Broadwell), which remain at low temperatures even though they are highly demanded.
To imagine how Apple will make the corner-to-corner keyboard of the new 12-inch MacBook…[é só ver o] 12-inch PowerBook G4!
The huge edges that we see on the current MacBook Air would cease to exist, giving way to a more similar feature to that of the MacBook Pro with Retina display. Due to the size (12 inches), the sides of the keyboard would be very narrow. Even so, the machine’s speaker would be somewhere visible (it wouldn’t look like the speakers on the MacBook Pro, but they wouldn’t be “invisible” like those on the MacBook Air).
Now, the icing on the cake: this new MacBook would have three different colors. Does anyone here take chances? Just look at Apple’s current products to discover: space gray, silver and… gold!

That’s right, you heard it right: a golden MacBook! After the iPhone 6 Plus (with a huge 5.5 inch screen), I don’t doubt anything anymore.
Speaking specifically about the new USB standard, the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) announced that it will offer a “DisplayPort Alternate Mode”, allowing new USB cables to support DisplayPort audio / video transmission, 4K monitors, in addition to the benefits of USB 3.1 such as great data transfer speed and up to 100 watts of power to recharge devices.
Regardless of color, this MacBook promises!
