ROSS: Meet the world's first robot lawyer

Artificial intelligence is an approaching reality as time goes on, we have dreamed of it for many years and the truth is that with each passing year we are closer to achieving it. Artificial intelligence is an approaching reality as time goes on, we have dreamed of it for many years and the truth is that with each passing year we are much closer to achieving something similar to what we have in movies. Of course, we have not yet arrived at Skynet but we already have approaches to robots that are intelligent to perform specific tasks, such as ROSS.

Artificial intelligence, also called Ross (can't help but remember Friends!), will be used as a product of research, consultation and interpretation of legal texts.

ROSS uses IBM's cognitive computing platform called "Watson" to interpret users' requests, people will be able to ask ROSS questions using their own simple language (English) and the robot will do research on the law and jurisprudence of various cases has already taken place or is based on existing laws to provide answers that are relevant to users.

ROSS can also monitor legal sites and notify people of new legal decisions and modifications that eventually occur and in some way influence ongoing cases, which will streamline work and save clients and lawyers time.

the future is coming!
