Just over a year ago, Romero Britto filed a lawsuit against Apple and design firm Craig & Karl alleging that an art used by them in a campaign “Create something new (Start something new) would have been directly inspired by the works of the Brazilian artist.
Yesterday, the Associated Press reported that this lawsuit was dismissed and that the parties covered their court costs individually. No further details about the case were revealed.
Britto's action even cited "unfair competition", which may be an indication of why the thing has not progressed.
