Result of the 2018 elections: how to see the counting of votes by cell phone | Utilities

The calculation of the result of the 2018 Elections is available in Results, the official app of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) for Android phones and iPhone (iOS). Through the app, the user can follow who won in real time by smartphone. The application is useful to discover first hand the details of the vote for president and governor, in the states of Brazil where there is a second round.

Result of the 2018 elections: how to see the counting of votes on the TSE website

Step 1. Install the Results app on your phone. When you open it for the first time, some introduction screens will be displayed. Touch "Next" and "Let's go" to access the main screen of the application.

Step 2. The results of the vote for president will be highlighted. Touch "View full list" to view all results. In the complete list, it is possible to find out the result of the vote for president by state by pressing "National", right of "Comprehension".

Step 3. Returning to the main screen, the app uses the location to identify its status. If you want, you can select it manually by tapping on the name of the state, under "Location". You can still see who won in the 1st round by clicking on the "1 round" option at the top right of the app. Scroll the screen to see the results for the positions of senator and deputies.

Step 4. In the "Totalization" tab, you can see details about the date and time of the last update, number of polled sections, number of null and white votes, in addition to the abstain. Select the position and status to see specific results.

Step 5. If you are using the application after the second round, note that, on any screen, you can switch between the results of the first and second round on the button in the upper right corner of the screen.
