Remix OS

Remix OS has been released and I can test it soon and I must say I'm impressed! It's the junction of Android and Chrome OS, something Google had been planning but interestingly, they didn't do.

The foundation of Remix is Android x86, the version of the operating system that tries to be compatible with ordinary computers, coupled with that is a friendly, familiar interface (a launcher) with a beautiful finish and Google's Material Design is bingo! You have Remix OS, soon we will have a video about it on the Diolinux channel.

How to download and test

You can find Remix OS available for download. on your official page, the file is compressed to just under 700 MB, after you extract the contents of it you will have an ISO of approximately 2.2 GB, so you need at least a 4 GB pen drive to run it but to Good use is ideal even 8 GB or more.

On the download page itself there is a tool for you to generate a bootable flash drive or memory card. This tool has only Windows version, however, I did the same process using the popular and cross platform Unetbootin.

– See how to use Unetbootin. (this example uses Ubuntu but the process the same)

Remix OS is meant to be used from a flash drive or SD card, so now you also have a pocket system. _____________________________________________________________________________ See any errors or would you like to add any suggestions to this article?
