So far the only way to run Android on a traditional computing platform was using android x86However, due to the lack of hardware compatibility there are some difficulties besides the interface itself that is designed for mobile devices.
The detail here is that Remix OS is a system based on Android x86, which is improved. He was thinking to adapt to the use of the computer with mouse and keyboard, this way the windows for example, has the control buttons (minimize, maximize and close), besides having a taskbar and a menu that best suits the desktop.
It all started with a project on Kickstarter that aimed to launch a mini computer, similar to Intel's NUCS, with the operating system. The campaign was a success and today it is possible to find the device in several internet stores with the name "Remix Mini". The system, however, is not yet available for download, but the release to the public should take place on January 12, that is, next Monday. Stay tuned for Diolinux and we'll keep you up to date.
