References to new graphics drivers indicate imminent arrival of updated iMacs and Macs

Users of the forums MacRumors today discovered new references in the 10.6.4 firmware of the latest Mac mini that suggest the imminent arrival of iMacs and Macs Pro updated with new graphics chipsets.

New ATI drivers on mini Macs

According to the findings, the new desktop Macs will use the ATI Radeon HD 5000 (HD 5870?) And NVIDIA GeForce 400 (GTX 480?) Graphics card lines.

Rumors about new lines of iMacs and especially Macs Pro have been around for a long time. Of course, the update should also come with faster processors, greater internal storage capacity and higher RAM, in addition to the new GPUs. It is still uncertain whether Apple will make any changes to the exterior look of the machines.
