References to an “early 2016” 12 ″ MacBook are found in the latest release of OS X Server

On Monday, as you all know, Apple released OS X El Capitan 10.11.4. But along with it came other updates, such as version 5.1 of OS X Server:

And look at a source of 9to5Mac found references to a Early 12 ″ MacBook of 2016 on configuration screens (from System Image Utility) of this OS X Server (top image).

The first generation of this MacBook was launched at the special event that Apple held last March, but nothing was commented on it last Monday. Still, it is highly expected that an upgrade will arrive soon, and this reference in OS X Server is a strong indication for that.

Intel already has new generation processors Skylake intended for a MacBook like this, but otherwise information about what we'll have again is scarce. The biggest crowd, no doubt, is for a second USB-C port on the opposite side of the current one. 🙂
