References to AMD processors are found in macOS 10.15.4 beta

After references to a new Apple TV found in tvOS 13.4 beta, now it was the macOS Catalina 10.15.4 beta which brought some signs which can liven up some people around.

The user @_rogame Twitter found, sifting through operating system codes, some possible references to AMD processors. As we all know, since Apple abandoned PowerPC chips on Macs, its sole supplier has been Intel.

The codes contain references to Accelerated Processing Units (APUs that combine CPU and GPU on a chip s) from AMD like “Navi 21”, “Picasso”, “Raven”, “Renoir” and “Van Gogh”.

Apple and AMD have a very close relationship, after all AMD is their main supplier of GPUs for Macs. With recent advances that AMD has made in its CPUs, however, it may be that a new interest in Apple has emerged for them.

Obviously, all this can also pass internal tests and we will never see the launch of Macs with AMD processors after all, there are also strong rumors about the adoption of Apple's own chips (based on ARM architecture) in Macs. Time dir.
