“Read later” app / service, Pocket is now from Mozilla

One of the most famous “read later” apps / services (read it later), O Pocket my favorite, although it wasn’t Bruno Santana’s choice in our comparison it’s just been bought by Mozilla, responsible for the Firefox browser. The transaction amount was not disclosed.

Anyone who uses the fox's browser knows well that, for some versions, it had incorporated a native integration with Pocket. In other words, a certain rapprochement between the two had been taking place for some time.

At least for now, Mozilla says that Pocket, which today has more than 10 million active users on all its platforms, with more than 3 billion saved links in all, will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary. It is a team of 25 people, originally formed in 2007.

May the app / service continue to thrive more and more, from now on.
