I recently came across the app Fyuse (from Fyusion) on the highlights page of the App Store, more specifically in “The best new apps”. Interesting was the fact that this app in the nothing new was originally released on April 20, 2014!

I am an application enthusiast, I am always looking for and testing the apps highlighted by Apple. I searched about it and found several reviews, but I had never seen one with it installed, nor did I find posts on social networks with “photos” taken on it.
The application, which is free, soon caught my attention. I read the reviews, saw the photos and downloaded them to test. J at first I got excited about the ease and practicality of making “photos” in 3D and interactive panoramas, that is, the "Fyuses".
By moving your smartphone sideways or up and down you explore Fyuse, which is really cool, giving the feeling of a window to another dimension as if you were there at the time of the photograph. The feature resembles the 3D videos that can be viewed on YouTube. If you want, you can also view the photo by touching the screen and dragging, as in native iPhone panoramas. In addition, it is possible to mark objects or people and place three-dimensional texts on the photos.
The quality of "Fyuses" It is very good and the rendering does not leave that aspect of overlapping photos from traditional panoramas. more like a video, like a “Live Photo in 3D”. You can make a traditional panorama, or a video in 360, walking around the desired scenario holding the button in the application. all very simple and interactive.
You can, in addition to choosing to share the photo on Fyuse's social network, send it to other networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or even save it on your device. It is recorded as a video, which play go to the end and go back to the beginning, like a loop keeping the effects and texts inserted. The social network of Fyuse is simple, but functional.
Another interesting feature of the app is the “front flash” implemented by increasing the brightness and adding white borders when used with the smartphone's FaceTime camera. Fyuse has several filters and editing tools, such as brightness, saturation, exposure and others. You can cut the video, both at the beginning and at the end.
Even with such innovative features, the app did not draw much attention from people until in March the singer Katy Perry made her own "Fyuse", when he presented the application at the “Prismatic World Tour” on EPIX it was broadcast in American cinemas, thus gaining some visibility. Even so, I think the app deserved more prominence due to the beautiful work of the programmers and creators in allowing us to have the experience of registering the world in 3D, with simplicity and using only our smartphones.
Below are some examples of what can be done:
"Fyuse" in the rain at night
Example without effects, in low light
Example with effects and flash
Example search for “#starwars”

I'm having a lot of fun using the app and I hope to see it being adopted by more people.
Fyuse is available both on the App Store and on Google Play, for Android.
