It had been a long time since I heard about interesting news from Sonnet Technologies, but it came this week with one that came in handy, with the discontinuation of Xserve: the RackMac mini.
The product supports two Mac mini servers sold in Brazil for R $ 3,500, in their standard configuration side by side, occupying the same space 1U of a rack.
The unit manages the air flow in the machines, adds a front panel from the outside and USB ports for each one, facilitating its operation in corporate installations. The support does not compromise the use of the optical drive of the machines, if the person opts for its traditional version.
The RackMac mini has a suggested retail price of $ 170.
