QNAP updated Qnotes3: app allows creating collaborative notes for multiple users

QNAP Systems updated its productivity application, Notes Station 3, allowing users to take notes in a NAS (Network Attached Storage) environment. The objective is to keep the notes updated among users, cementing the collaborative spirit between the teams. The new version allows workgroups to create and edit notes, easily checking edits.

The new mobile version, Qnotes3, allows you to record and share inspiration notes, ideas that arise on the go or even task lists at any time, even when offline, which are then synchronized with the NAS when you return online.

Notes Station 3 is compatible with publishers such as Google Docs and Evernote, allowing NAS employees to use notes as a group communication platform. On the other hand, if you need to share notes with other users outside the NAS group, you can create public links and share. The edited notes show the author, as well as the date the document was changed, if this data is needed. In your notes it is possible to add YouTube videos in embedded format.

And for security reasons, users can configure two-factor authentication, or access notes through an extension for the Chrome browser.

The company warns its users that Notes Station 2 Qnotes will be discontinued in July 2020 and, starting in September, be removed from different app stores. The company provided a tutorial to transfer the notes from Station 2 to Station 3.

You can download Qnotes3 for free on Android and iOS versions.
