.Pt domain gains 5,000 new addresses with Empresa na Hora

To date, the governmental initiative Empresa na Hora has contributed to the .pt Internet domain gaining 5,000 new addresses, according to information provided by the Foundation for National Scientific Computing (FCCN) in a press release, where it also reveals that the numbers exceeded those your expectations.

It is recalled that the FCCN signed a protocol with the Institute of Information Technologies in Justice (ITIJ) and the National Register of Legal Persons in November 2005, with the aim of regulating the conditions under which the registration of addresses is carried out in. pt of commercial companies incorporated under the scope of Empresa na Hora.

The Foundation was responsible for directly registering the company name with the .pt suffix, for all commercial companies set up under this initiative that are communicated to it by ITIJ, and free of charge in the first year.

«FCCN brought added value to Empresa na Hora by facilitating the integration of these Portuguese companies in the digital economy, making their presence on the Internet immediate», stresses Pedro Veiga, president of FCCN, in the press release.
