Primate Labs today released a performance chart of the new MacBooks Pro, obtained through a research of benchmarking performed with the Geekbench software. The machines are compared to previous generations of MacBooks and MacBooks Pro.
All tests were performed on laptops with original configurations, that is, without any processor upgrade / overlock. The basis of the comparison is the 1.6 GHz Power Mac G5, which scores a score of 1,000 on the Geekbench. The bigger it is, the better.
