Primate Labs today published test results from benchmark performed with all Macs recently updated by Apple: iMacs, MacBooks and mini Macs.
The graphics are just great for comparing new hardware with old ones, but in the case of iMacs the best is yet to come, since models with Core i5 and Core i7 processors will only hit the market next month.
As usual, all tests were performed with the latest version of the Geekbench software. The basis of the system is the 1.6 GHz Power Mac G5, which records 1,000 points in performance tests with processor and memory. The higher the number, the better.
Today's results, in themselves, are no exception. Of the last wave of launches, what really matters are those top-of-the-line iMacs. Be interesting to compare them even with Macs Pro.
