It had already appeared in the guts of iOS 12.2; now it’s official: Beats has just launched Powerbeats Pro, new fully wireless headphones.

As speculated, the new product is quite similar to the AirPods in several aspects: they share the same H1 chip, support the “Hey there Siri” feature and are completely wireless (now, there is no longer a wire joining the left earphone to the right). A big change, however, is due to the case capable of recharging the headphones, which has a Lightning port to be recharged.
Powerbeats Pro have physical buttons for playback and volume control; on the other hand, there is no button to turn it on / off (just take them out of the case so that it is ready for use and put it back so that it goes into mode sleep). The configuration, as expected, is exactly the same as the AirPods: just open the case next to an iPhone and follow the instructions on the smartphone screen. Still, if you use an Android, it is perfectly possible to have a Powerbeats Pro, pairing the headphones by the traditional method.
Without a doubt, even for the design of the headphones, the Powerbeats Pro is the ideal choice (among the options offered by Apple) for the practice of physical exercises both for the rubberized material (which is resistant to sweat and water) and for the fact that it have a clip that fits in the ear in a much safer way than AirPods (which has been redesigned and is now adjustable). According to the company, the new headphones also feature “powerful sound, balanced with dynamic range and noise isolation for a listening experience. premium“.

To obtain the best possible fit in the widest range of ears, more than 20 configurations have been modeled electronically and physically tested. The result, according to the company, is a completely new ergonomically inclined acoustic enclosure that fits comfortably in the ear. In addition, it comes with four ear tip sizes, 23% smaller than its predecessor and 17% lighter.
The battery promises: up to 9 hours of use and more than 24 hours of playback combined with the case – and with just 5 minutes of recharge, you have 1.5 hours; already with 15 minutes, up to 4.5h!
But whoever chooses the Powerbeats Pro will have to pay: the headphones will cost $ 250 (US $ 90 more than AirPods with the normal charging case, without Qi support) in black, ivory, navy blue and moss green, and will hit the market in May in the following countries: Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium , Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Spain, Greece, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Singapore, Sweden and Switzerland.

Last week, we commented on the website that #iOS 12.2 brought images of #PowerbeatsPro, new @beatsbydre all-wireless headphones. The product has not yet been launched, but @apple has already tried to put a hell of a gable to publicize it in #LosAngeles. The ad shows an image of the headphones with the text “totally wireless” (“totally wireless”) just below the name; there is also a billboard in the left corner, also promoting the product. As we said, #PowerbeatsPro has not yet been released – who knows, it still occurs today, precisely because of these ads – but it is quite capable that it will follow the specifications of the new #AirPods and bring the # H1 chip (and all the improvements of connectivity), as well as support for the “Hey there, Siri” command. Still, as we showed earlier on our Instagram, Apple has already started publicizing the product out there.
