Popularity of ASUS ROG notebooks grows on the international market. What bets arrive in 2020?

ASUS ROG reveals that its market share in the notebook sector now accounts for a quarter of all sales in the world. In April, sales of ROG gaming notebooks increased the share to 22.6%, making the manufacturer take the first place in the podium in several international markets.

According to data cited in a statement, ROG laptops now lead the ranking in the EMEA market (Europe, Middle East and Africa), as well as Asia-Pacific (APAC).

The brand's best-sellers include ROG RTX laptops, which stand out in the high-end product segment. Altogether, sales of ROG computers including the most popular NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards reached a market share of 30.2% in April, representing almost a third of the entire market.

Among the 2020 bets from ASUS, which will reach the Portuguese market throughout the summer, the new lines of gaming notebooks ROG Zephyrus and ROG Strix stand out. In an online meeting with the national press in April, Andr Gonalves, PR Manager for the company's EMEA, had already made it known that the new bet is to personalize the products to the needs of each player.

For the new generation of laptops, the brand adopts the tenth generation Intel Core i9 processors, NVidia GeForce RTX graphics cards and Wi-Fi 6 compatibility on its computers, already thinking about the standard of the future.

ASUS also emphasizes the quality of the monitors for laptops that have already surpassed the standalone, offering images at 300 Hz and with IPS in their tops of range, factory calibrated with Pantone certification.

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 becomes the crown jewel of ASUS laptops, an evolution of its two-screen machines after the ZenBook Duo. The ultra-thin notebook for gamers has a 15-inch main screen and a touch screen 14.1 inches, with more area available than the previous one.

The lower screen rises from the base when the main is open, allowing you to adjust the angles independently. Below the second screen a ventilation space is opened, offering another air passage.

The main screen runs images at 300 Hz and has a response time of 3 milliseconds. Inside are a 10-generation Intel Core i9 processor, 32 GB of RAM at 3200 MHz and two 1 TB SSD in RAID 0. It also has an NVidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER graphics and a 90 Wh battery to power the two screens.

The main screen presents panoramic images at 16: 9, but the second is intended to be dynamic, adapting to use, with different image ratios. The user can choose a 32: 9 image, the equivalent of a panoramic monitor; divide it into two 36: 9, equivalent to two ROG Phone screens; or in three 48: 9 images, more or less three small independent 5.5-inch screens.

In the Zephyrus portfolio there are also the S17, S15 and M15 models. The first is equipped with a 17.3-inch almost frameless display with a refresh rate of 300 Hz and a response time of 3 milliseconds. For even more speed, it can be combined with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER card and a Intel Core i7 processor 10 generation CPU.
