Pop Home Switch is Logitech's solution for controlling smart homes.

Logitech has just announced a simple solution to control smart homes, the Pop Home Switch. It is a device containing only one large button that connects to your smart devices.

His intention is to allow anyone to be able to control smart devices even without having a smartphone and an app for it. This means that even those who don't handle technology very well can use it, as they just need to know how many times to press the button to get what they want from the devices.

Pop connects via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to products such as the LIFX and Phillips Hue lamps, Sonos speakers, Logitech's own Harmony control and so many others. In addition, you can connect it to IFTTT, creating several recipes that give you a much wider range of connectivity.

The commands are just three: one click, two clicks, or one long click. You just have to use their own application to configure exactly which one you want each click to perform, which can be a combination of actions. For example, you can create a recipe so that, with one click, the lights are turned off and Netflix opens as well.

Basically a larger version of the Flic laptop, Pop fits in your palm and can be attached to any wall in your home. It is compatible with both iOS and Android.

O Starter pack Pop's is for sale for $ 100 (two units and one plug adapter), and for those who need to buy more single units, they can do it for $ 40 each. For now, it is only being sold in the United States and can be purchased directly from the Logitech website.
