Our list of the best of the year would not be complete without one of its most important items: the best high-end smartphones of 2014. Following and dictating trends, manufacturers have invested heavily in double launches of their flagship in semiannual periods. Proof of this is that in our list each manufacturer is competing with at least 2 models, from the highest range of their respective lines. But is this rain of releases really a consumer benefit? This is what we will see in our survey, where you are more than invited to participate.

LG
LG G3
LG has opened the doors of QHD display devices, the long-awaited 2K. With groundbreaking features from its predecessor version of the LG G2, the company was able to attract glances at its top of the line. Smartly used borders, and redesign of the Optimus UI user interface, were one of the highlights of G3. Unfortunately, the company has not changed its design guidelines for the material used on its devices. In this model we still have the plastic glossy, above an application that mimics the brushed.
Sony
Xperia Z2
The Xperia Z2 was the top line for the Japanese company for the first half, as Sony has the strategy of launching a new flagship every 6 months. The Z2 represents a profound change compared to the Xperia Z1, mainly due to the abandonment of the TFT LCD screen which in no way represented the manufacturing potential of the company's displays. Included were narrow speakears, camera improvements and a retread on the device's flu.
