O Kickstarter a sea of amazing ideas, and a new camera called PITTA is drawing attention to the crowdfunding platform. Basically, the product one action cam that can turn into a drone.
The modular device has a 6.7 inch spherical shape and weighs 200 grams. Despite the small size, the product can be equipped with accessories to be mounted as a steel camera, used as a selfie camera or then flying as a drone.
When in quad mode, the camera can be controlled via smartphone, Wi-Fi connection. PITTA features GPS and various control modes, including "autofollow", which identifies the user and follows them making images.
In addition to its modularity and drone mode, the camera also stands out for its image quality: developers promise videos at up to 4K at 30 frames per second captured by the 13 MP lens.
The camera has 32GB of storage with no MicroSD input. When in drone mode, PITTA can fly up to 20 meters, with enough battery for up to 15 minutes of flight. Autonomy reaches 100 minutes operating in action cam mode.
