Piper Jaffray: new Macs will arrive in June; Apple will sell 4.5 million units in the second quarter of 2012

The week started with everything, and rumors about new Macs are hotter than ever [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]. If sales were not so good in the first months of the year, everything should change with the arrival of the new machines, scheduled for June – who knows, during WWDC.

Gene Munster, from Piper Jaffray, is another one who believes in new MacBooks and iMacs arriving in the sixth month of 2012. With that, Apple will be able to sell 15% more (year on year) of Macintoshes in the second quarter, totaling 4 , 5 million units – which will represent 15% of its turnover.

The analyst recommends Apple’s shares, setting a target price of $ 930.
