Philips launches an incredible dock for DJs to use their iGadgets instead of CDs

Thousands of songs cannot fit on a CD, especially if they are in formats with no loss of quality. But the 8GB of the cheapest iPhones / iPods touch can handle hours and hours of sound. So the natural evolution is to exchange CDs for iGadgets, right? That’s what the Philips did.

Philips FWP3200D Dj-Dock

Imposing.

Instead of easily breakable CDs – which don’t even have a screen – you play DJ with iGadgets in this incredible new dock, the Philips FWP3200D DJ-Dock. With an impressive modern look and integrated light effects, the FWP3200D seems like the logical choice for those who want to party in small environments. Equipped with tweeters 2 ″ and woofers 5.25 ″, reaching 300W of power, the dock is very noisy. Other devices can be connected via USB or auxiliary ports.

All of this comes at a rather steep price: 300 pounds (about R $ 950), plus shipping and import costs, since the device comes from the United Kingdom. The FWP3200D DJ-Dock can be purchased through the Philips UK website.
