Parallels today announced the launch of its Desktop 11 for Mac, another major update to the famous virtualizer of operating systems.
As major highlights are Microsoft Windows 10 support, which brings the Cortana assistant to the Mac for the first time before Siri, by the way. The virtualizer is also ready for OS X El Capitan.
In addition, Parallels Desktop 11 is integrated with the Quick Look of OS X, brings a new “Travel Mode” to save battery, uses Mac location information within Windows applications, general performance improvements, among others.
Parallels is now also offering a “Mac Pro Edition” of Desktop 11 focused on developers, beta testers and other advanced users, in addition to the existing “Business Edition”.
