Opera GX the first browser for gamers; see how to use | Browsers

Opera GX is the first gamer browser and promises to complement PC gaming and offer features that make life easier for gamers. The program, announced by Opera on Tuesday (11), comes with Twitch TV integration and control of the machine's CPU and RAM usage.

The manufacturer makes early access available to interested parties by downloading to Windows. Like the computer-focused Opera GX, it doesn't have console versions like PS4 and Xbox One. The official launch of the browser is expected to take place later this year. How to access GX Control

The GX Control feature allows you to control the browser RAM and CPU consumption on your computer in case the user needs to use the maximum capacity of the machine.

Step 1. GX Control can be accessed from the speedometer cone on the left bar;

Step 2. In the configurations, it is possible to change with the mouse the memory limit in gigabytes (GB), and to establish the percentage processor limit available to the browser.

Design, wallpapers and sound effects

Opera GX has a wide variety of browser interface customization tools. The user can change the wallpaper, colors and animation of browser elements. In addition, it is also possible to configure the sound effects of Opera GX, and hide features such as the news section.

Step 1. To set your browser colors, wallpapers and sound effects, access the menu in the upper right corner;

Step 2. Choose from the side menu the wallpaper and color of interest. If you prefer to add your own image as a wallpaper, check the "Add your wallpaper" button at the bottom of the window;

Step 3. After changing the color and selecting the wallpaper, use the scroll bar to access the animation, look and feature settings from the side menu. This last option lets you decrease or increase the sound effects of Opera GX by sliding the knob through the intensity bar.

Opera GX offers integration with Twitch TV. To use the function, the user must login to the service account from the browser sidebar. Once logged in, the person can follow the channels they follow, see who is online, and choose to receive notifications when someone follows them on Twitch.

Step 1. Press the Twitch cone on the left sidebar;

Step 2. In the menu that appears next, press the "login" button and enter your credentials to take advantage of browser integration features.
