ONLYOFFICE version 5.4 released with lots of news

ONLYOFFICE version 5.4 has just arrived full of new features and fixes.

Regardless of which operating system, office suites are undoubtedly among the most widely used programs. While there is a wide variety of these applications available for Linux, the lack of full compatibility with the Microsoft Office format is still something that prevents many people from migrating to the Penguin system.

ONLYOFFICE is a cross-platform office, developed by Ascension System SIA, a Riga-based IT company in the capital of Latvia, and has a staff of 45 maintainers. Like most office suites, ONLYOFFICE has text editors, spreadsheets, and presentations. In addition, the company also offers its users a paid cloud document storage service.

Recently, on October 3, version 5.4 of the software was released, with the implementation of several improvements, of which we can highlight:

More graphic customization in all editors;

Possibility to add watermarks in the document editor;

Spell checker and new formulas in the table editor;

Possibility to add headers and footers in table and presentation editors;

Enhanced color scheme

More options for paragraph spacing;

Possibility to select the language through the keyboard;

Possibility to save in .docx format in compatibility mode;

New theme options predefined for the presentation editor.

If you want to know more about ONLYOFFICE, we have already published here on the blog. various articles about the same. Including one interview with one of the project's developers, Galina Goduhina.

What office office do you use, and why? Are you satisfied with her? Have you tested or thought about using ONLYOFFICE? Tell me more in the comments. = D
