When we think of image editing on the Mac, names like Photoshop and Pixelmator come to mind, but there is software with a lot of history on the platform. We last talked about it in mid-2012, when version 8 arrived.
Recently, it was released to 10 verso of GraphicConverter.
Developed by the German Lemke Software, the name itself indicates that GraphicConverter started as a graphics converter and, for that, it remains excellent. It is a huge “Swiss Army knife” capable of opening and saving in more than 200 different formats, basically all you can imagine.
But GraphicConverter has evolved a lot in its many years of life and today it is also an excellent image editor with support for layers and effects / filters, with collage features, face detection, various printing options, color switching, metadata management (EXIF, IPTC, XMP) and more. The new version even converts Live Photos of iPhones 6s / 6s Plus in GIFs!
The software is quite complete and is translated into many languages, including Portuguese.
