Office 2016 for Mac exits the testing phase and is now available to Office 365 subscribers

At the beginning of March, Microsoft released preview public of Office 2016 for anyone who wanted to test and help the company with feedbacks. Now the testing phase is over.

As of today Office 2016 for Mac is available to Office 365 subscribers in 126 countries, supporting 16 different languages. The new version of Microsoft's productivity suite supports Mac Retina displays, full screen functionality, multitouch gestures, fully connected to the cloud (making it easy to edit and share files) and much more!

According to the company, during the testing period there were more than 100,000 user feedbacks, which contributed a lot to the development of the tools.

As I said, anyone who is already an Office 365 subscriber can use the new suite starting today; however, anyone who wants to purchase a single license to access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote apps on OS X will have to wait until September.
