Nintendo announces its next mobile release: Dr. Mario World

THE Nintendo just kidding like that: pretty much the same day the company announced the postponement of Mario Kart Tour, she announced that she'll bring the classic puzzle from the 1990s, Dr. Mario World, for the mobile platform.

The doctor has arrived! Mario wears the white coat once again in the mobile game Dr. Mario World, which was released worldwide in early summer 2019. #DrMario

The app will be developed by the Japanese manufacturer in partnership with the LINE messaging service and should be released mid-year next new release date of Mario Kart Tour.

In the original version of Dr. Mario, players should rearrange different colored pills as they fall to eliminate them from the game board (slightly similar to Candy Crush saga). Nintendo has confirmed that the app will be distributed free of charge but rely on internal purchases.

Dr. Mario World will be released for both iOS and Android initially in about 60 regions.
