Nintendo’s new portable console, capable of playing 3D content, may reach the European market in April, some Spanish media are advancing today, after a local online store has mistakenly started to make reservations for the equipment .
The disclosure was due to the GameStop store, which presented the possibility of ordering the Nintendo 3DS for 249 euros, advancing the 7th of April as a probable date for launching the product. There was, however, the caveat that it was a limited offer on the Web.
The booking possibility was only online for a short period of time – allegedly due to a computer failure – but the image was collected by sites such as ElOtroLado, which provides the capture reproduced below.
The information revealed, although related to the Spanish market, leads to similar prices and dates for Portugal, since the launch in Western Europe usually happens simultaneously. If the date is confirmed, it represents a delay in relation to the initial forecast, which indicated the month of March as probable.
To date, only the predictions for arrival in Japan have been officially advanced, where the Nintendo 3DS is expected to go on sale on February 26, for 25,000 yen (about 227 euros). The manufacturer is expected to take advantage of the Las Vegas electronics fair this week to present some of the games for the console.
