Nexus 7, the Google tablet, has its specifications revealed on the internet

The Australian version of Gizmodo said on Monday it had obtained access to training documentation related to Google's Nexus tablet, which will be launched during the developer event, Google I / O.

According to the publication, the tablet will be known as Nexus 7 and should reach Australia first in July and be the first device to run Android 4.1 version, also known as Jelly Bean.

The blog also confirmed some of the technical specifications: to be manufactured by Asus, with a 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 12-core GeForce GPU and 1GB of RAM with two different storage versions: 8GB and 16GB.

Nexus 7 also rely on NFC to run Google Wallet (probably only in the US) and Android Beam. The display will be an IPS screen with a 178-degree viewing angle, with a resolution of 1280 × 800.

The device also has a 1.2 megapixel front camera and a 9-hour battery life. As for prices, the report states that the 8 GB model will cost $ 199, and the 16 GB model will cost $ 249.
