To do this, simply connect the Backup Plus to their respective social media accounts so that they automatically back up everything. It also allows the upload of stored files directly to YouTube, in addition to the two networks mentioned, Seagate said it is working to support more networks in the future, which is sure to please users.

Backup Plus Portable for Mac

The portable version comes equipped with a USB 2.0 port, but if you want, the user can use adapters, upgrading to USB 3.0, FireWire 800 or Thunderbolt connections. Backup Plus Portable Drive for Mac is available in two versions: 500GB (US $ 120) and 1TB (US $ 140) prices valid for the United States.

Backup Plus Desktop for Mac

The desktop version comes equipped with USB 2.0 and FireWire 800 ports once again, it is possible to use Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 via adapters. Backup Plus Desktop Drive for Mac is available in three versions: 2TB (US $ 190), 3TB (US $ 210) and 4TB (price not available) prices valid for the USA.
