Apple today launched a new page focused on "Data and Privacy", whereby it is possible to download all data associated with your Apple ID; that is, you can have a copy of everything that Ma knows about you and that she keeps on your servers.
Among the data that can be downloaded by the user, we have: history of purchase and use of applications, calendars, reminders, photos and documents stored in the statistics of iCloud, Apple Music and Game Center, in addition to marketing history and also the supports conducted by the AppleCare team.
You also have some other options available on the page, such as the possibility of correcting data, temporarily deactivating your account or even completely deleting it (something until then unavailable).
The feature, for now, is only available to users in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland thanks to the General Data Protection Regulation (General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR). However, Apple promises to make the news available to the world soon.
If you do not want to wait until the news reaches Brazil, you can contact Apple through this website and request a copy of your data. When all the features on the page are available for Brazilian Apple IDs, we will do a tutorial showing exactly how to download or delete all your data. 😉
