When Apple announced the new Mac pro, there was suspicion based on many arguments that it would no longer be manufactured in U.S, and yes in China. A few months later, however, Apple itself made a point of confirming that the most professional machine ever made by her would continue to be produced in her homeland. But that is only half of the story.
In fact, all Pro Macs sold on Uncle Sam's land besides Canada and some other possible countries on the American continent are manufactured there. This week, however, the first desktop units began shipping to European consumers and surprise: MacGeneration (Google Translate), such machines are assembled in China.
The phrase “Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China. ” (“Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China.”) There's no doubt that for markets other than the US and adjacent Macs Pro are shipped from the Asian country.
Logistics makes sense; The question is whether Donald Trump is happy with this story.
