New MacBook Air receives top overall rating from Consumer Reports

Consumer Reports published yesterday a new ranking that evaluates the main desktops, laptops and netbooks on the market, giving both new models of MacBook Air the best scores among all.

Although the full report is only available to subscribers, the Macworld detailed the numbers: the 11.6-inch model of the Air scored 67/100, winning first place with ease. Behind him is the Toshiba Satellite, with 51/100. The 13.3-inch model already faced tougher competition, but even so it appeared at the top of the ranking with 78/100.

The 11.6 ″ MacBook Air was rated as "very good" in ergonomics and display, "good" in performance and "razovel" in versatility and speakers. Its battery had an average autonomy estimated at 6.25 hours. The 13.3 ″ was considered “very good” in performance, ergonomics and screen; “Good” on speakers; and “reasonable” in versatility. Its estimated autonomy in 7.5 hours.
