New “iPhone 9” concept unites elements from different generations of the device

Unless the rumors industry is totally wrong, it is very likely that we will see, in the coming months (probably in March), a new model of iPhone leave the basements of Cupertino and gain the light: I mean, of course, the successor of the iPhone SE – which, according to the most recent speculation, should be called “IPhone 9”.

We already have an idea of what the device will look like: in the same spirit as the original iPhone SE, it will bring an “old” design (here, in this case, the iPhone 8) with very recent specifications (possibly the A13 Bionic chip that equips the iPhones 11 and 11 Pro, for example) and more “affordable” price (US $ 400). Earlier today we talked about these rumors in more depth, for those interested.

The fact is that Svetapple.sk rolled up his sleeves and produced renders very realistic of what the “iPhone 9” might look like – and the result is a combination of recent generations of the line, as you can see below:

The front of the device has a 4.7-inch LCD screen and the old touch ID start button, which gives the device an unmistakable iPhone 8 face. The other angles, however, are more eclectic: the sides colored aluminum evokes the iPhone 11, as does the glossy glass back with the centered Apple. The single camera is reminiscent of the iPhone XR.

The designers reflect, here, the rumors of the device’s specifications: we will apparently have a 12MP rear camera, 7MP front camera (both with Portrait Mode), 3GB of RAM, IP67 water resistance certificate and no 3D Touch (the layer of extra interaction seems to have died, in fact).

The colors must be white, black and red, in the (PRODUCT) RED edition.
