New Galaxy Nexus on the way?

According to The Verge, some technical specifications of the next Nexus smartphone – the successor to the Galaxy Nexus (Galaxy X in Brazil) – may have leaked on the internet.

The information obtained by SamMobile suggests that the Google device could reach the market in the coming months and should keep the beautiful 4.65-inch screen with Super AMOLED technology of the current model unchanged.

Inside, the new Nexus (still made by Samsung) would have a 1.5GHz Dual Core A9 processor and new 1.9 and 8-megapixel cameras, front and rear, respectively. Another change would be the inclusion of a microSD card slot (something very unlikely).

Launched in November 2011, the Galaxy Nexus is approaching Google's annual release cycle and its new version should be more detailed soon.
