After our exclusive publication of the possible car that will be used to cover the Street View service in Brazil, some readers have warned us about the emergence of information related to AgênciaClick, the agency responsible for Fiat’s projects in Brazil, which confirms the veracity of the images we received in the previous post.
According to information retrieved from Robson Dantas’s blog (via Google Cache), an agency official (Linkedin), the Brazilian Google Street View operation should actually work with red Fiat Stilo vehicles. The cars were reportedly assigned to Google by the Italian automaker.
Another very interesting point is in the first cities that will be addressed by the service. Also according to the blog, the first stage of the Street View project will include São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. A “making of” with the preparation of the cars had also been made available on YouTube (image below – link) but was deleted by the user himself. The project should also gain promotions and news during its journey.
