“Powerbeats4”: new Beats headphones are homologated in the USA

Rumors about the arrival of «Powerbeats4 Wireless» (with support for the “Hey there, Siri” and H1 chip) feature since last December; shortly thereafter, another indication that its launch was close appeared on iOS 13.3.1. Well, now, there is the indefectible confirmation.

If here in Brazil any type of device needs to be approved by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), in the United States they need to pass the approval of Federal Communications Commission (FCC, or Federal Communications Commission). This Thursday, they painted documents related to a wireless headset identified by the code A2015.

The image we see is quite similar to the one seen in iOS 13.3.1 codes, making it clear that the headphones (left and right side) will be connected by a wire, as in Powerbeats3 Wireless.

Interestingly, the model A2015 does not have as much relationship with similar headphones from Beats, since the Powerbeats2 Wireless is identified by the model A1747, while for the Powerbeats Pro there are three codes: A2047, A2048 and A2078 (headphones and case).

When exactly it will be released, only Apple / Beats knows. But that the product exists, now there are no more doubts.
