Apple Watch Park Challenge

As the 9to5Mac, in day September 1st (saturday) we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Redwood National Park, a redwood forest in California that maintains some of the highest specimens of its kind in the world and that you can recognize as the backdrop used for the scenes in Endor, the planet of the Ewoks, in the film “Return of the Jedi”.

To commemorate the milestone, Apple will unveil a special challenge that day by offering the three beautiful iMessage stickers seen above, as well as a special badge. To complete the challenge, just perform at least 50 minutes of walking, jogging or wheelchair exercise on the 1st of September remembering that the data can come from the Activity app itself or you can import it from third party apps.

Apple Watch users can expect notification that day, wherever they are, it seems that the challenge will be international. Let's move, guys! 😀

In a press release, Apple confirmed the challenge. The company also reported that, from August 24 to 31, donate US $ 1 to the National Park Foundation (National Park Foundation) for each purchase made with Apple Pay at any Apple store, on Apple via the Apple Store app (in the U.S.).

United States national parks are a treasure that everyone should experience and we are proud to support them again this month by donating a dollar for every purchase made with Apple Pay at one of our stores. These inspiring locations are our national heritage and Apple is doing our part to pass them on to future generations as extraordinary, beautiful and wild as we find them.

Tim Cook, Apple CEO.

On September 1, the App Store will highlight a collection of some of the best apps to help users navigate and easily explore some parks in the country.
