New Apple Music documentary series, “Up Next” will feature a rising artist each month

Apple's larger plans to produce or buy its own content, popularly appealing, do not seem to be bearing fruit yet. The same, however, cannot be said for Apple Music: the streaming da Ma seems to have launched in the branch of launching series and original contents with a good regularity the most recent, "The House of Strombo", was announced just four days ago.

Now, another series is coming to the platform, and this time we are talking about documentary production. "Up Next" feature a new episode for months, each highlighting and promoting a rising artist on Apple Music.

Featuring # UpNext. The next generation of music. A new artist every month. To start, @ 6LACK.

As we can see in the tweet above, the first artist to be featured in the series the rapper 6LACK (pronounced “Black”). The page "Up Next" on Apple Music already includes a short biography of the musician, as well as the mini-documentary itself, and a live performance by the artist entitled "Up Next Session" which suggests that the presentations will be part of the series with all the artists going forward.

The page also includes a 6LACK interview by Beats 1 anchor Zane Lowe, which was also posted on the radio's official YouTube channel:

Nice initiative, don't you think? Which artists do you think should be featured in the series in the future?
