Rumors surrounding future Apple releases are emerging almost daily; and, when we have news after news, at that speed, it is common for some information to end up missing or even confronting each other.
Yesterday, the DigiTimes stated that the third generation of AirPods may have the same design as the Pro model, but without Active Noise Canceling. Today, the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo countered that information. According to him, future AirPods will adopt a package system (system in package, or SiP) as in AirPods Pro (replacing the current design, but that the look of the headphones should remain the same.
Also according to him, the mass production of the third generation AirPods will start in the first half of 2021; the production of the second generation AirPods Pro would start in the second half of 2021 or even in the beginning of 2022 – that is, confirming it means that the new generations are still quite distant, although there are those who bet on the arrival of a new model in the next month. ??♂️
On the other hand, such new Apple headphones over-ear, so commented recently, would go into production in the middle of this year, being launched in the second half. Kuo, however, does not believe in other models (such as the rumored “AirPods X”) – the analyst believes that this model (or the so-called “AirPods Pro Lite”) is more likely to be some new model from Beats.
In short: the confusion is armed. We will see who is right – although this may take a long time to confirm. ?
