By speeding up playback, you can watch more content in less time. Speed ββreduction can be useful when reviewing a particular video to notice the finer details of your favorite series.
The feature is currently on YouTube, but with more rhythm options and a custom control for fine tuning. Several podcast players, such as Pocket Casts, and audio books, such as Audible, also have a similar control to streamline or delay audio.
The new function began to appear days after a Netflix executive explained that the company monitors accounts that are possibly breaking password-sharing rules. Speaking to investors, product director Greg Peters indicated that the service is studying ways to limit the use of a single subscription by people who do not live together.
