The Netflix app for Android now has the option "screen lock" to prevent accidental touches on the phone from activating functions such as playing back or forward scenes from the title. When the tool is activated, it does not allow access to the Netflix player controls. Simply tap the display twice in a row to unlock the screen and access the play and pause buttons again.

The new function is useful to prevent children from using other applications while watching Netflix on their mobile phone, and also helps prevent the user from skipping an episode or unintentionally pausing the video when accidentally touching the screen. Step 1. Open Netflix on your phone and access the series or movie you want to watch by touching the play button;
