The My INSS app skyrocketed in downloads from Android and iPhone (iOS) stores the following week first-time approval of the Social Security reform in the House of Representatives. In the App Store, the government app jumped 122 positions and reached, on Wednesday (17), the second place among the most downloaded, just after FaceApp. A similar move occurred on Google Play, where it climbed 171 positions and reached 10 position in the list of most accessed. The information comes from the market analysis firm App Annie.
The approved text creates a minimum retirement age of 62 for women and 65 for men in urban areas. In rural areas, the requirement falls to at least 55 years for female workers and 60 for men. The Proposed Constitutional Amendment (PEC) also provides for a minimum contribution time of 15 to 20 years, depending on gender. There are, however, special regimes with softer rules for teachers and servants of the Federal Police.

How to use the INSS application
The app has a calculator that shows the time left to retire. She still does not consider the changes that might be worth following the eventual approval of the Reform in the Federal Senate and the presidency. The data shown for now, however, can serve as a comparison if the app gets updates in the future. It is worth mentioning that the government website brings the Pension Calculator, a tool that takes into account the new rules of the 2019 Pension Reform.
