MX Master 3 and MX Keys: Logitech's new Mac peripherals combine efficiency and comfort

Logitech has updated orato MX Master 3 and the MX Keys keyboard to adapt to the most demanding lifestyles, whether in the world of design or programming, with a focus on those accustomed to the Apple software and hardware ecosystem. The peripherals of the Master Series line are designed with professionals in mind who want to achieve a higher level of performance while working without sacrificing comfort.

Through the MagSpeed electromagnetic mechanism, the main wheel of the MX Master 3 mouse promises a scroll that is 90% faster and 87% more accurate while remaining silent. With an accuracy of 4,000 DPI, the peripheral allows you to work on a variety of surfaces, even under glass with a thickness of 44 millimeters.

The equipment was designed with an emphasis on user ergonomics, adapting to the palm of your hand. For greater productivity, the mouse can be optimized for different applications and programs. For example, in Excel, the wheel is able to advance 1,000 lines per second and cause the cursor to land at an exact location. The same speed can be achieved also in code creation environments.

By pressing on the Gesture Button where the thumb is positioned, it is possible to view all the applications that are open. The same button can also be used to navigate through different frames of a video or image editing application, allowing, in the latter case, to navigate through the different design tools.

With the Logitech Options software, MX Master 3 can be optimized to work with various programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, browsers such as Google Chrome Safari and Edge, as well as Photoshop and Premiere Pro from Adobe and Final Cut Apple Pro.

The experience of working at the computer would not be complete without a keyboard. MX Keys includes specific key combinations for those who are used to working with Apple's software and hardware ecosystem. In addition to the company's computers, the keyboard is compatible, for example, with the iPad for faster and more efficient writing.

So that all the elements of the setup do not conflict with each other, the equipment also arrives with a new color scheme inspired by the products of the Cupertino giant: Space Gray.

Like the MX Master 3, the MX Keys were designed with comfort in mind and so you can be used during intense work sessions without your hands slipping too much and in an uncomfortable position.

A difference between the brand's other keyboards and the MX Keys is in the smart backlight. The equipment adapts to different environments, depending on the lighting levels. It is also possible, for example, to wake up the keyboard as soon as you put your hands on it and it goes back to sleep when you leave the desk.

Both peripherals have USB-C to USB-C quick charging, meaning that they can be charged and used at the same time without interference and allowing for greater space and time savings.

Regarding the longevity of the equipment's batteries, the MX Master 3 mouse can be used up to 70 days after a single charge and, after a quick one-minute charge, it gains three hours of use. The MX Keys keyboard can last up to 10 days on a single charge or up to five months if used without backlight.

The devices can be used to control multiple computers simultaneously over a WiFi connection, even between Windows and MacOS. Thus, documents and files can be transferred more easily, just needing to copy them on one side and paste them on the other.

Logitech peripherals will be available from August this year, with prices of 109 euros, both for the MX Master 3 mouse and for the MX Keys keyboard.
