Apple chooses a weekly Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on production) R $ 9.90, and we do MacMagazine we also took the opportunity to mine other offers with the same value.
The title selected by Apple this time was “Yesterday”, directed and produced by Danny Boyle, with Himesh Patel, Lily James, Ed Sheeran and Kate McKinnon.
Check out his trailer:
Here is the synopsis of the film:
Jack Malik was just another songwriter trying to be recognized … but that was yesterday. After a mysterious blackout, Jack (Himesh Patel) discovers that he is the only person in the world who remembers the Beatles! As he gets famous, singing the songs of the famous quartet as if they were his own, Jack loses Ellie (Lily James), the only person who has always loved him and believed in his talent from the beginning. But before the door to his old life is closed forever, he must find out if, after all, all he needs is love. Kate McKinnon and Ed Sheeran also star in this romantic rock ‘n’ roll comedy, by Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle and Oscar-nominated screenwriter Richard Curtis.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio [@tripalavra], who is a movie buff, also sent us a comment about the film:
What would your tomorrow be like without some important things in history? What if you woke up and iPhones no longer existed, not because they ran out but because they were never invented? With a detail: you know about them, how to make them, for the benefit of everyone or just yourself. What would you do? This is the background of the Movie of the week and it deserves to be highlighted for its lightness, the idea and, of course, for its soundtrack.
