Apple chooses a weekly Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on production) R $ 9.90, and we do MacMagazine we also took the opportunity to mine other offers with the same value.
The title selected by Apple this time was “Queens of Crime”, with Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss.
Check out his trailer:
Here is the synopsis of the film:
Based on the comic book series, Vertigo, from DC Entertainment, the film stars Oscar-nominated actresses Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss, as the three housewives of Hell’s Kitchen in 1978, whose mafia husbands were arrested by the FBI. Running out of many choices, these ladies take on the Irish mafia with their bare hands, proving that they are unexpectedly able to command the streets and eliminate competition … literally.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio [@tripalavra], who is a movie buff, also sent us a comment about the film:
THE Movie of the week is one of those with a great cast, a great idea, but a result below expectations. The direction skidded, the performances were not so good and that great idea failed. We have a “pass time” film here, and nothing more.
